This coffee is decaffeinated using a natural process. First, our roasters steam the coffee, which activates the hydrolysis of the caffeine. Then, they wash the coffee in a mixture of a compound found in sugarcane, Ethyl Acetate (C4H8O2) and water from the Navado el Ruis to remove up to 97% of the caffeine.

A final steam is then used to remove the residual traces, giving what we believe to be one of the best tasting decaf coffees ever!
